Q I like throwing small parties to get my friends together so we can catch up. Because I enjoy baking and cooking, I am always looking for unusual appetizers and mini desserts to serve. Do you have any new and unusual ideas?

What lucky friends you have! I love to entertain guests, too. In fact, one of my resolutions this year was to entertain more and worry less.

If you’re looking for a little novelty, how about these Gazpacho Shooters with Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches ? They’re a fun appetizer and a conversation starter all in one. I love the way the recipe plays with childhood memories of grilled cheese and tomato soup, while adding a little grown-up spice.

When you and your guests are ready to move on to sweets, I’ve got two suggestions that look and taste impressive — but will leave you plenty of energy to enjoy the get-together. These Mini Raspberry Almond Cream Puffs and Sticky Toffee Dessert Cakes are darling, delicious and just daring enough.

Let us know how your friends like them!

I would like to know just how much salt is in the sauces? I have to watch my salt intake because of my heart. THANKS!

All of our recipes list sodium in the nutrition label information. The sodium information for products is on each Land O Lakes product, too.
