Weekends come and go so fast, don’t they? By the time Sunday arrives, it seems like all of the things I needed to accomplish on the weekend are still hanging around- laundry, grocery shopping, and preparing for the work week ahead.

I have to say, when Land O’Lakes introduces a new product, I get really excited. Maybe I’m a little bit biased because I am a Land O’Lakes employee, but with our new product, Sauté Express, I have reason to be excited! I have been working on this product for over a year. I’ve traveled with the sales, marketing and Test Kitchens teams presenting Sauté Express to buyers at grocery stores, magazine food editors, and more.

Every summer, the Test Kitchens has an intern on staff. This summer our intern is Lacey who is from Clemson University in South Carolina. She’s majoring in Food Science & Technology with an emphasis in Culinology, which makes her a perfect fit here in the kitchens.

Burgers are a go-to meal I know my kids will eagerly eat. They’re so easy -- I just vary the toppings and bun to suit my mood (no recipe needed!). We especially love "sliders" – itty-bitty versions that make "super sized" sound like a dirty word.

It’s a Wednesday night and I’m driving home from work, all the while thinking about how hungry I am and how quickly I can get home and eat dinner. I call Ryan to check in while I’m driving – like we always do – and he announces that his brother, Kyle, and Kyle’s girlfriend, Steph, are coming over for dinner.

I always know spring is near when I start hearing radio and TV commercials advertising fish sandwiches. I love fish sandwiches and the commercials make them sound so good, especially when I’m driving and hungry.

When planning my weekly meals, a quick glance at the calendar revealed that the logistics of Thursday’s dinner would be a challenge. My husband and I were both scheduled to work until 6:00, our girls each had soccer practice and there was a bonus school meeting thrown in there, too. No time to spare!

It is a thousand degrees outside right now! Who honestly feels like cooking anything in this heat? The ultimate sandwich, the Turkey Cobb Salad Sandwich to the rescue!
