About Butter:
Nothing compares to butter for baking and most Americans agree LAND O LAKES® Butter is the best of all butters. Both LAND O LAKES® Salted Butter and LAND O LAKES® Unsalted Butter are made from fresh sweet cream.

About Brownies:
Whether you are making cookies, cakes, breads or brownies baking is a science! The results vary depending on the ingredients or method used. Brownies are a great example. Learn how to make your favorite type of brownie in this lesson plan.

Type of Brownies:

Cakey Light, moist and airy, with a slightly fluffy, cake-like interior. Though light in texture, this brownie still has an intense chocolate flavor.
Chewy More dense than cakey brownies, a Chewy Brownie has a rich, chocolate taste, but the texture is not as gooey as a fudgy brownie. Chewiness comes from the amount of flour and eggs in the recipe. The proteins in all-purpose flour give the chewy texture and using whole eggs provides structure for this brownie.
Fudgy Deliciously dense and gooey with an extra rich chocolate taste. Fudgy brownies are generally made with a low proportion of flour to the amount of liquid in the recipe, giving them a moist and dense texture. Baking powder is added to help the brownies rise. Fudgy brownies, like chewy brownies, are made by first melting butter and
chocolate in a saucepan, then adding all the other ingredients.
