Prerequisite: Knowledge base of basic kitchen safety, sanitation, reading a recipe and proper measuring techniques.
Objectives
Students ages 9 - 13:
Students will be able to recognize that "made from scratch" brownies are an easy to make snack with a fresh, homemade flavor.
Students will be able to demonstrate the proper techniques for making a recipe for a fudgy brownie.
Students ages 14 - 17:
Students will be able to recognize that brownies, "made from scratch," are an easy to make
snack with a fresh, homemade flavor.
Students will be able to demonstrate the proper techniques for making a recipe for a fudgy,
a chewy or a cakey butter brownie. Students will be able to compare the differences between
the recipes and final brownies.
