Heat oven to 350°F. Combine brown sugar and butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs, vanilla and almond extract; continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add oats, flour and baking soda. Beat until well mixed. Stir in 8 ounces chopped chocolate and pecans by hand.
Spread batter into ungreased 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan. Bake for 24 to 27 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
Place 1 ounce square semi-sweet chocolate and 1/2 teaspoon shortening in small microwaveable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM (50% power), stirring occasionally, until melted (1 to 1 1/2 minutes). Drizzle over cooled bars. Repeat with white chocolate and remaining shortening. Cool completely until chocolate is set. Cut into bars.
