It takes less than 15 minutes to make this easy and delicious side dish recipe.

Preparation time: 10 min   Microwaving time: 3 min  
Yield: 6 (1/2-cup) servings 


4   cups assorted cut up fresh vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower, onion, carrot, zucchini, summer squash, bell pepper and/or green beans)*
2   tablespoons water
2   tablespoons LAND O LAKESĀ® Light Butter with Canola Oil
1   to 2 tablespoons fresh chopped herbs (such as basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and/or parsley)
  Salt, if desired
  Pepper, if desired


Place cut vegetables and water in microwavable steamer; cover. Microwave on HIGH for 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are crisply tender. Drain.

Place cooked vegetables into serving bowl; add Light Butter with Canola Oil, herbs and salt and pepper, if desired. Toss until vegetables are evenly coated.

*Substitute frozen cut vegetables. Omit water.

**Substitute 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs.
