Combine
2 cups
flour and all remaining cookie ingredients in large bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Stir in remaining flour.
Divide dough into 4 equal portions. Wrap each in plastic food wrap; flatten slightly. Refrigerate until firm (at least 2 hours).
Heat oven to 350°F.
Roll out dough on well-floured surface, 1 portion at a time (keeping remaining dough refrigerated), to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with 2 1/2-inch cookie cutters.
Place 1 inch apart onto greased cookie sheets. Decorate with decorator gel and sugars, if desired. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely.
