Spending an afternoon on the front porch is just not the same without homemade lemonade especially when it's sparkling pink!

| 1 1/2 |

cups (6 lemons) freshly squeezed lemon juice |

liter club soda, chilled* |
| 4 |
|
teaspoons grenadine syrup** |

6-inch wooden skewers |

Fresh fruit pieces (strawberries, melon balls, pineapple chunks, etc.) |
Combine sugar and lemon juice in 2-quart pitcher. Stir well; refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
Just before serving, add club soda. Stir in grenadine syrup.
Thread fruit pieces onto 6-inch wooden skewers to make kabobs. Place kabobs in glasses; add ice. Pour in lemonade mixture.
*Substitute 4 cups water.
**Substitute 4 to 6 drops red food color.
