Combine 2 cups flour and all remaining ingredients except decorator sugars and frostings in large bowl. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in remaining flour.
Divide dough into 4 equal portions. Wrap each in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate until firm (2 hours or overnight).
Heat oven to 350°F. Roll out dough on well-floured surface, one portion at a time (keeping remaining dough refrigerated), to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut with 2 1/2-inch cookie cutters.
Place cookies 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with decorator sugars, if desired. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely. Decorate with frostings, if desired.
