A flaky pastry with an orange pecan topping -- perfect for morning coffee.

(17 1/4-ounce) package (1 sheet) frozen puff pastry, thawed |

tablespoons sugar |

teaspoon freshly grated orange peel |

cup finely chopped pecans |

tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened |
Heat oven to 375°F. Unfold thawed pastry; cut into 3 strips along fold lines. Place 1 to 2 inches apart onto parchment-lined baking sheet. Prick each strip 4 to 6 times with fork.
Combine sugar and orange peel in small bowl. Stir in pecans. Add butter; mix well. Spread each strip with 1/3 topping mixture.
Bake for 14 to 17 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool. (Pastry will collapse while cooling). Cut each strip diagonally into 1-inch slices with sharp knife. Serve warm or cool.
