Malted Chocolate Thins
These drop cookies are thin and have a crisp chewy texture. Kids will love the malted milk flavor with a cup of hot cocoa.

4 dozen cookies
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup malted milk powder
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 cup malted milk balls, crushed
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine sugar and butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add all remaining cookie ingredients. Beat until well mixed.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely.
Place milk chocolate chips in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100% power) 1 minute; stir. Continue microwaving 30 seconds until almost melted. Stir until smooth. Spread about 1 teaspoon melted chocolate over each cookie; immediately top with crushed malted milk balls, pressing slightly into chocolate.
To crush malted milk balls, place in large resealable plastic food bag. Seal bag; pound malted milk balls with rolling pin until coarsely crushed.
If cookies spread too much during baking, stir 1/4 cup additional flour into dough.
