There’s nothing as easy as this buttery blonde brownie recipe that you stir up in a saucepan in minutes.
Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar; mix well. Cool 10 minutes. Stir in egg and vanilla. Add flour and salt; mix well. Stir in pecans.
Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake 22-27 minutes or until set. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Very easy. i made them plain this time, but next time will try adding pecans or walnuts. Excellent chewy texture!
This recipe is "man" friendly. A lot of men don't like chocolate brownies but will scarf this "brownie" down!
I made a double batch...because I knew one lil 8x8 pan wouldn't last long in my house! Very good recipe, super sweet. I didn't have pecans on hand so I used walnut pieces (yum!) i agree about the cook time, as mine were done in @ 21 minutes.
This is my go to, easy dessert. They disappear fast and everyone wants the recipe! I double the recipe, use 1 cup chocolate chips instead of nuts, and bake in a 9x13. Even more delicious served warm w a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
This is always a sure hit. I've baked this recipe many times, but have learned to take pan out of oven when it looks as if it needs another minute or two. My family prefers toffee bits on top instead of pecans inside. Very sweet - cut into small pieces.
This is a keeper. Everyone wanted this recipe.
Very quick to make. Watch how long you bake it carefully otherwise you could be serving a tasty brick :)
I've tried many blondie recipes and this one RULES! I skip the powdered sugar and add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of semisweet chocolate chips sprinkled on top before baking. I also make it entirely whole wheat. I *heart* this recipe!

This year, my grandson Clark is 3 years old, so I wanted to make some cookies that he would love to eat and would find to be fun, too. These adorable Powdered Sugar Snowmen Cookies are just the ticket.
Chocolate’s complex flavor brings out the sweetness and tanginess of fruit, mellows the heat of peppers, and comes alive when introduced to a little bit of salt. The real question should be, “What can’t you dip in chocolate?” More ...
