Chocolate chip cookies may not be enough for a real chocolate lover! Try this chocolate chunk cookie to satisfy the most serious chocoholic!
Heat oven to 350°F.
Melt 1 cup chocolate chunks in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 3-5 minutes or until melted.
Combine sugar and butter in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add melted chocolate, eggs and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in remaining chocolate chunks.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until set. Let stand 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.

These are fantastic! A chocolate lovers cookie for sure...I might add more chocolate chunks, but mostly for looks. They're pretty chocolatey.
Excellent cookie... very easy and very delicious. Easy to divide if you want a small batch...I add nuts as well. Yummy
Very good cookies! A favorite of mine and my famil/friends. I always half the recipe (makes 24 cookies, each made with a tablespoon of dough), and it makes just enough.

Very good recipe. Very easy! Decided to make it because I surprisingly had all of the ingredients on hand. Was a little nervous about it before I popped them in the oven because the consistency of the batter was different than any other cookies I had ever seen, but they came out really great!
I made these for a friend of my mine. I have a homemade baking business on the side for the holidays or special events we bake. Wow these are good. She loved them. Will make them again. Love them!!!
These cookies are wonderful - with a delicious flavor and soft texture! This is one of my favorite chocolate cookie recipes!
