I have this recipe in an old Land O'Lakes recipe book, except it is called "fudgy" instead of "chocolate." I started making it, and realized there is nothing in the recipe to make it fudgy, so I searched for a corrected recipe. I read the list of ingredients several times and don't see any chocolate in this one, either! What am I missing? I followed the recipe, but ended up with a mixture that just looks like graham crackers and tastes sweet and almond-flavored.
From the Test Kitchens...Thanks for commenting about the graham cracker ingredient. The number of graham crackers you need to use is 12. The recipe ingredient amount will be corrected very soon. Thanks again.
I'm confused about the ingredients. the amount is in red in the recipe but for the chocolate grahm crackers it says 1/2. What is the amount of grahm crackers suppose to be?
I included these in my xmas cookie trays because I thought it would be nice to have an easy no bake cookie with all my more labor intensive treats. I found them too dry & crumbly to make into balls as written and had to add more melted butter to get the consistency needed. I thought they were more trouble than they were worth, but am giving them 3 stars due to many positive comments from people who ate them.
