I have made these cookies 3 times with the same results every time. While they are baking the butter oozes out all around the cookie and the dough flattens. This is the only cookie I have trouble with. Although, my family request them they are a disaster to look at. I have been very careful to follow the recipe but it seems there is too much butter in them. Can you please help me remedy this problem.
Love, love, love these cookies! Easy to make, different & delicious! I made them for the first time last year for my annual Christmas cookie bakethon and they are on my list again. Wonderful!!!
This cookie is a WINNER! Every place I have taken it, the recipe has been requested. For lovers of cookies, cashews and cookies that are not chocolate based. Most east to make too. Even my grandson requested these for his high school graduation instead of cake!
