Made this last year and was so easy and tasty made it again this year! I did change up the recipe I used a boxed cake mix lemon flavored for a spin on taste still as good as scratch!

We made these cookies yesterday with the grandchildren baking day. 15 year old grandson decorated and they are delicious!!! Highly recommend
Exceptionally easy - burned the first batch and whipped up another in about 6 minutes. Very tasty - go light on the frosting and it's not too sweet. I added lemon extract to my frosting instead of the almond as there is a child in my son's class with a nut allergy. All the kids went gaga over these. The Christmas tree squiggle was easy and looked great.
These cookies were tender and rich. Very simple to make and looked beautiful on my cookie trays. A definite keeper!
I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE LIKE A CAKE, BUT I WAS SURPRISED WHEN IT WAS MORE LIKE A COOKIE, AND EVERY ONE ENJOYED THEM.
