3/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda


1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring
3 to 5 teaspoons water


Combine butter and cream cheese in large bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add brown sugar and 1 teaspoon maple flavoring; continue beating until smooth. Reduce speed to low; add flour and baking soda. Continue beating until well mixed. Cover; refrigerate until firm (30 minutes).

Heat oven to 350°F. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball into a 3-inch rope. Place onto ungreased cookie sheets. Form into crescent shape; pinch ends and flatten middle slightly. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Place onto wire racks over waxed paper; cool completely.

Combine powdered sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring and enough water for desired drizzling consistency in small bowl with wire whisk until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies; drizzle with melted chocolate. Let stand until chocolate is set (2 hours). Store cookies between sheets of waxed paper in container with tight-fitting lid.

Recipe Tip

To melt chocolate, place chocolate chips in small microwave-safe bowl Microwave on MEDIUM (50% power) until chips are melted (1 1/2 to 2 minutes). Spoon into small reasealable plastic food storage bag. Snip small hole in one corner of bag. Drizzle chocolate over cookies.
