2 cups cubed cooked chicken or turkey
2 cups frozen chopped broccoli
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/3 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
3 cups dried cubed herb seasoned stuffing
1 cup chicken broth
Heat oven to 400°F.
Combine all filling ingredients in bowl. Spoon into greased 8-inch square glass baking pan.
Place stuffing mix in bowl. Combine 1 cup chicken broth and butter in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil. Pour broth mixture over stuffing mix. Toss with fork until stuffing mix is moistened. Spoon stuffing mixture over filling. Cover baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake 15 minutes.
Remove aluminum foil. Continue baking 15-20 minutes or until filling is bubbly. Top with cheese. Let stand 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
To make ahead, assemble recipe through topping with stuffing mixture. Cover tightly with aluminum foil; freeze. To bake, thaw overnight in refrigerator. Bake, covered, 15 minutes. Remove foil; continue baking as directed.
