Lime Berry Cream Squares

A beautiful make-ahead dessert featuring a salty pretzel crust topped with tangy lime cream and fresh sweetened berries.

1 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar


1 (6 ounce) package lime flavored gelatin
2 1/2 cups boiling water
2 cups vanilla flavored yogurt
1 cup whipping cream*


8 cups assorted fresh berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, sliced strawberries)
2 tablespoons strawberry jelly, warmed**
1 cup whipping cream, whipped


Heat oven to 350°F. Combine all crust ingredients in medium bowl. Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 10 minutes; cool completely.

Combine gelatin and boiling water in large bowl. Stir until gelatin is dissolved. Whisk in yogurt. Refrigerate 2 hours.

Add 1 cup whipping cream to gelatin mixture. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Pour over cooled crust. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 12 hours.

Just before serving, combine berries and warm jelly in large bowl. Top each serving with about 1/2 cup berry mixture. Top each serving with 2 tablespoons whipped cream.


*Substitute Land O Lakes® Half & Half.

**Substitute 2 tablespoons red current jelly or other fruit jelly.

Recipe Tip

- To crush pretzels, place pretzels in resealable plastic food bag. Use rolling pin to crush pretzels.

- When fresh berries aren’t in season, top dessert with your favorite pie filling such as raspberry, strawberry or blueberry.
