Family loved it...even the picky ones!
This is a very good recipe. Both my fiance' and his 17 yr old daughter loved it. I know if teenagers eat it, it must be good! I used the pesto & basil in the little refrigerated section of pasta stuff. And the Alfredo sauce I used was Newman's Own Alfredo and peppercorn parmesan. It tasted amazing!!
We love this dish. I use my own Alfredo and when I can get fresh basil, I make my own Pesto. This is an easy dish to make and always gets nice comments when I take it to a pot luck meal.In fact at the last birthday pot luck supper at the Senior Center, I was asked to make it..
From the Test Kitchens...You have an excellent idea. At this time we tested this recipe with a purchased Alfredo sauce as one method when you have a recipe you want to put together quickly. Absolutely this recipe would be wonderful with a homemade Alfredo sauce. You need to use the same amount as what is listed in the recipe. Excellent idea!
Why not change your recipe to include a homemade alfredo sauce recipe with fresh ingrediants like Land O'Lakes Butter, Cream and cheese.
Family enjoyed it. I used reduced fat ingredients when possible.
I thought it was really good and very easy - everyone thought it was incredible. Made me look good!
This dish was fabulous! I even added it to my personal favorites!
This was very easy to make and SOOO good! I had it for dinner with my husband and mother, and we all loved it. It makes so much, there were even left overs to bring in lunched the next day, and it reheats very well and still tastes great!
I have cooked this recipe over and over. I do make my own chicken, which I season and marinate for at least 3 hours, then boil until the meat falls off (I put an onion, green bell pepper, and a 1/2 c of chicken broth when I'm boiling it), then I just shred my chicken and add it to the mixture. When I'm mixing all the ingredients, I add extra parmesan cheese to the mix. For the topping I use garlic breadsticks that I put in my food chopper and mix it with the butter and cheese and it's absolutely fabulous! My family of 6 can't have enough of it!

As autumn rolls around, I love making apple desserts. I’ve written a couple of times about my hunt for the best apple crisp recipe and how I’m always looking for ways to utilize the crop of apples in our yard. While I do have a couple of stand-by recipes, it’s always nice to try a new spin.
