Ingredients

Cake

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

2 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet baking chocolate

3/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

12 peanut butter and milk chocolate candy pieces

Frosting

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Half & Half

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Halloween candies, sprinkles or peanut butter and milk chocolate candy pieces, if desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F. Line 12-cup muffin pan with paper baking cups or lightly spray with no-stick cooking spray. Set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Melt 1/2 cup butter and chocolate in 2-quart saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in all remaining brownie ingredients except candy pieces until mixture is smooth.

  3. STEP 3

    Spoon heaping 2 tablespoons batter into each prepared muffin cup. Place 1 candy piece in center of each cup; press down slightly.

  4. STEP 4

    Bake 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.

  5. STEP 5

    Combine all frosting ingredients in bowl. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and fluffy. Spread 1 tablespoon frosting on top of each brownie cake. Decorate as desired.
