Irish Cream Brownies

These brownies make clean-up easy as the batter is mixed in a saucepan.

Ingredients

Brownie

6 tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Butter
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup liquid Irish cream coffee creamer

Frosting

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
3 tablespoons liquid Irish cream coffee creamer
Coarse grain green decorator sugar

Directions

Heat oven to 350°F. Melt 6 tablespoons butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat; stir in sugar and cocoa. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Add baking powder and baking soda; mix well. Alternately add flour and 1/2 cup coffee creamer, mixing well after each addition.

Spread batter into greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.

Combine all frosting ingredients in medium bowl except decorator sugar; mix until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies. Sprinkle with decorator sugar. Cut into bars.

Recipe Tip

Coffee creamer comes in a wide variety of flavors. They can be found in the refrigerator section of the supermarket. Substitute your favorite flavor for the Irish cream flavored creamer. Try French vanilla, coconut cream, vanilla chai spice or hazelnut for different variations of this brownie.

Good flavor but consistency of cake. I was hoping for a chewy, moist brownie. May try another recipe and use the Irish cream in it.

Very easy recipe to follow and so flavorful. The flavors intermingled and the outcome was that of a very elaborate and fancy styled brownie...one of a kind. It is so amazing the creations Land of Lakes affords us right in our own kitchen with the wonderful recipes offered...keep up the good work.

This recipe is fantastic! It was so easy and fast. The brownies were amazing. I also made these brownies with Hazelnut creamer and they were even better. Try this recipe with your favorite coffee creamer!!

I tried this recipe with Bailey's Irish Cream versus the liquid coffee creamer and it turned out quite good. Using half the amount of frosting is more than sufficient.
