Peppermint chocolate cookies in a simple basket tied with a ribbon is a special holiday gift of melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cookies.

These are a family favorite. I add a bit of half and half to the dough because I find it to be too crumbly. This makes the shortbread really soft and delicious. Also…pay attention to the ONE drop of green, unless you want them to look toxic. I put both the mint frosting and chocolate drizzle into plastic baggies and cut a tiny corner off so I can use them like pastry bags. This makes for some really nice looking cookies. YUM!
This has become my signature Christmas cookie. I make them every year, and they're my husband and daughter's favorite. They always come out perfect and look beautiful on the cookie tray.
LOVE THIS RECIPE! Have made it many times over the years and it is always a winner. I just change the icing color for different holidays-- green for Christmas, pink and blue and yellow for Easter, orange for Halloween, etc.
These were a treasure that I got from a work cookie exchange party. They were THE best cookie out of all the 20 ladies there! My kids request these cookies more then any other. They do melt in your mouth and I always feel proud to display them because they look so "fancy"LOL! You will have found your fav cookie for the holidays! I would make them as a small ball because they are rich and a little goes a long way, even if you have 3 or 4.: I use my fingers to pat down slightly and them make a small divit or "well" before you bake them, then when you add the green frosting it really holds because you have that well on top. Super Good!!
I've made these once for St. Patrick's Day for the office. I'm not a fan of mint, however these were very good-melt in your mouth. The office staff loved them!
These are my family's #1 favorite Christmas cookie for the past few years! My kids have requested a double batch for this year. The steps in making this cookie are great learning tools for kids, and the finished cookies just melt in your mouth! Prettiest cookies on the tray, and rave reviews from all who have tasted these.
These cookies are so festive and minty for the holidays. My daughter-in-law just loves them and we get together to make them every year. Recipe is easy, cookie dough always come out perfect.We always double the recipe to get the amount we want.
These cookies are excellent, with a very soft texture. They're very rich, though. I made them with a teaspoon cookie scoop, and that was a very good size. Any bigger might be too rich.
