It's 2013 and I pulled out my Land O Lakes cooking magazie and made this recipe. Excellent!! Many recipe requests at work where I made it for our Halloween luncheon. I should have made this years ago. So good. Everything I've made from Land O Lakes has turned out delicious. I can make the Apricot Squares blind-folded.
This was a big hit! Tasted good & looked so cute too. For the top, I just used the stem from a green pepper. Much easier than trying to cut it to look curled...
I JUST LOVE IT
This cheese spread is good with celery, bell peppers & whole grain crackers! I want to try it with apples. Make sure all ingredients are ready to mix after the garlic, sugar & butter are cooked.
I made this recipie for Thanksgiving last year and it was a huge hit. I am making it again this year.
Excellent Dish!! Easy to make and everyone loved it. Even passed the recipe on to co-workers who also made it for the holiday! Big Hit!!
The Caramelized Garlic Cheese Spread is fabulous~! I brought this appetizer to a Fall gathering and had request after request for the recipe.I'll be making it again at Christmastime, shaping it into a 'log',and using crushed pretzels in place of the cheese crackers.
I tried this last weekend and it went over very well at the party! Very good and I would make again!
This recipe is awesome and easy. Served it to my book club who devoured it. I had to redo the garlic caramelizing step since I was multitasking and didn't stir the mixture constantly as directed. Was asked to share the recipe with the group. I cut and used the stem part of the green pepper for the pumpkin stem.
This was the cutest appetizer to bring to a family Halloween party! My 3yo loved helping me make it, we even used his goldfish crackers as the outer layer, which he thought was great! The spread was a hit with everyone. I served it with crackers, apples and veggies.
I made this for Halloween last year and it was a big hit with my guests. I added veggie sticks to the serving plate as well as crackers. The leftovers were eaten during the game on Sunday.
This was the hit of the halloween party! It was easy, cute, and delicious. My friends now request it for parties. The caramelized garlic is key.
I made this recipe for a pot luck at work and a girls night out around halloween. A lot of people who say they do not like cheese balls found they loved this one. I ended up giving the recipe to about 15 different people. I have also made it in the shape of a Christmas tree. Using chopped parsley instead of crackers. It was a big hit.
I have made this spread for a few occassions this season and it has been an across the board hit! I was intimidated at first and thought it would not come out as pictured, but it was suprisingly simple and delicious! If I can make it, anyone can!
I made this for a social at a retirement center and it was a big hit.The cheese ball looks very festive rolled in the crushed cheese crackers.Would be nice for Thanksgiving too.
