Yes, I would have to agree with the first rating comment; recipe was not good at all.Too crumbly, dry, too crunchy. The cookie bar were not very thick at all; too flat. I have to be fair though, I have not tried the modified recipe. I might give it another try.
It tasted OK but handles very badly, falls apart, there's crumbs everywhere. I guess you could put it in a bowl I didand eat it with a spoon. Some made it as 'sticks' but that was a lot of work for only a couplepassable 'cookies' - there's so many good ones out there, this recipe is going in the trash.
I just made these and they are delicious! I had to cook them a little longer, about 23 mins, and they still turned out great. I also used honey roasted peanuts instead of plain. they didnt come out as thick as shown in the picture, next time I might try to make 1/2 of the receipe more. Oh and I tried to cut them while they were still warm but they fall apart, so I put it in the refridgerator before cutting. They cut perfect after being cold. I will definately make these again.
