These soft molasses cookies are flavored with orange and cranberries. A perfect combination of flavors!
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves in bowl; set aside.
Combine sugar and butter in another bowl; beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add molasses, egg and orange zest; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour mixture gradually to butter mixture, beating at low speed after each addition. Stir in cranberries.
Place turbinado sugar into small bowl. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls; dip tops into sugar. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-13 minutes or until set.

I made the molasses cranberry crinkle cookies, and they were too moist to roll into balls and then into the sugar. Can you check your recipe and make sure an ingredient might be missing?

The best molasses cookie I've ever made. They come out just like the picture and taste great. The cranberries and orange zest add a nice flavor. A keeper, I'll be making these throughout the year, not just during the holidays!
