A rich and indulgent bar cookie with the flavor and texture reminiscent of pecan pie.
Heat oven to 350°F.
Combine 1 3/4 cups flour, butter and sugar in bowl. Beat at medium speed until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press crust mixture evenly onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 18-22 minutes or until edges are very light golden brown.
Combine all filling ingredients
macadamia nuts in bowl; mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly over hot, partially baked crust. Bake 30-35 minutes or until filling is set and knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean. Cool completely.

I made this for Christmas and everyone loved it. One of the gals does weight watchers and she told people, "it is worth the calories"....instead of drizzling the top with the melted dark chocolate, I "frosted" the bars and added christmas sprinkles to make them festive looking. I will make these again.
