1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

2 medium (2 cups) apples, peeled, grated
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup pecans, finely chopped
- Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans to bread batter before baking, if desired.
- Can be made in one (9x5-inch) loaf pan. Bake 50-55 minutes.
