The bread is good but not anything special. The apple taste is minimual, you taste the spice more than anything. The topping makes the bread better than average. I will not make again, as there are better apple reciepes out there.
Excellent recipe, I made it today and put pecans in the mix as well as the topping. Very moist but also tasty, will make this one again.
I substituted a cup of apple sauce for the apples...very moist and did not fall apart..
This bread is delicious but it falls apart not sure how to fix this.
I also added 1 apple chopped into small cubes into the batter.
I made this bread multiple times last fall and have been hunting the recipe in anticipation of fall baking this year. This bread is moist and delicious. My husband said it's the best bread that I make and I make many different recipes. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
