Classic dinner rolls--perfect for any holiday meal!
3/4 cup flour, yeast, sugar and salt in large bowl; set aside.
Combine milk, water and butter in 2-quart saucepan; cook over medium heat until temperature reaches 120ºF. to 130ºF. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; beat at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until mixture is smooth. Increase speed to high; add
flour. Beat until well mixed. Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic (8 to 10 minutes). Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 12 equal pieces; shape each piece into a ball. Place into greased 8-inch round pan. Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled in size (about 30 minutes).
Meanwhile, heat oven to 375ºF. Bake rolls for 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan; brush with additional melted butter, if desired. Serve warm.

I made these once and my family always asks for them at every holiday now. They are easy to make and delicious. My only complaint is they are not soft on the tops. How can I get them to be softer instead of crusty? I usually bake them for just 15 minutes as the 20-22 minutes in the recipe makes them WAY to hard on the tops.
Easy, texture is nice. The only critique I have is that there isn't as much of a yeast flavor as I like, and the baking time is waaaaay too long. 10-15 minutes would render a softer roll.
Loved them and soo easy to make!
It disappeared 5 minutes after taking it out of the oven. My grandkids loved it.
This is very easy and gets great reviews for homemade rolls!. I make mine ahead and freeze for special dinners like Thanksgiving. They are still the best!
These taste just like my grandma's dinner rolls but way easier to make. My whole family loves them :)
sooooooo tastey. the perfect dinner yeast roll and super simple to make
These were too sweet for our taste.
Easy and delicious!
Reminescent of the rolls I had in grade school. Yeasty, and taste like a roll not like an egg roll. Try these and you won't ever eat any other kind again.
This is the easiest recipe for rolls I have found and I make them all the time.

This year, my grandson Clark is 3 years old, so I wanted to make some cookies that he would love to eat and would find to be fun, too. These adorable Powdered Sugar Snowmen Cookies are just the ticket.
Chocolate’s complex flavor brings out the sweetness and tanginess of fruit, mellows the heat of peppers, and comes alive when introduced to a little bit of salt. The real question should be, “What can’t you dip in chocolate?” More ...
