1/4 cup ranch dressing
1 tablespoon real bacon bits
1 tablespoon green olives, drained, chopped, if desired
8 slices multi-grain bread
8 ounces thinly sliced deli turkey
8 ounces thinly sliced salami
8 slices tomato
4 leaves leaf lettuce
Combine all spread ingredients in bowl; mix well.
Spread 2 teaspoons ranch dressing mixture onto 1 side of each bread slice. Layer 4 slices bread, spread-side up, with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice cheese, 2 slices tomato, 1/4 turkey, 1/4 salami and 1 slice cheese. Top with remaining bread slices, spread-side down.
- For 2 double-decker sandwiches (as pictured)
, use 6 slices bread. Spread ranch dressing mixture onto 1 side of 4 slices bread; layer with ingredients as described above except do not top with bread slices. Spread both sides of remaining 2 slices bread with ranch dressing mixture; place onto 2 sandwich stacks. Invert remaining sandwich stacks over bread slices.
