I also add some diagonally sliced celery. So good.
I made this recipe years ago.....It is scrumptious!!! So happy to find it again. When you can use "fresh from the garden" tomatoes, you are in for an "over the top" taste experience!
My Mom made this many years ago. She passed away 11 years ago, but I've loved this for so long, I had found the recipe way back when, and couldn't find it, then found it here, this recipe is to die for, even better reheated, I could make a meal of this, one of the best recipe's I've ever had.
