Rolls

1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

Cinnamon Variation

1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Orange Variation

1/4 cup sugar

1 tablespoon freshly grated orange zest

Glaze

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon water

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Roll thawed dough into a 16x10-inch rectangle. Brush dough with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Cut in half lengthwise making 2 (16x5-inch) rectangles.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Sprinkle mixture over one dough rectangle. Roll up jelly-roll fashion, beginning with 16-inch side. Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal well. Cut into 16 pieces; place into greased 9-inch round baking pan. Brush tops of rolls with 1 tablespoon melted butter. Set aside.

  3. STEP 3

    Combine sugar and orange zest in small bowl. Sprinkle mixture over remaining dough rectangle. Roll up jelly-roll fashion, beginning with 16-inch side. Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal well. Cut into 16 pieces; place into greased 9-inch round baking pan. Brush tops of rolls with remaining melted butter.

  4. STEP 4

    Cover each pan of rolls with plastic food wrap; let stand at room temperature 1 hour.

  5. STEP 5

    Heat oven to 350°F.

    Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans immediately.

  7. STEP 7

    Combine all glaze ingredients in small bowl. Drizzle over warm rolls.
