Traditional Easter rolls made easy, but special, by hiding a pocketful of filling inside each. Decorate simply with a cross on top.

These are extraordinary. I didn't have currants, so I used raisins. Put raisins, brown sugar, butter, orange zest and allspice in a small chopper to make the filling. Used close to a tablespoon of zest! Will definitely make these again.
I made these yesterday for our Easter breakfast today and they are just delicious! Great tasting filling and convenient using the frozen dough. Another LOL winner!Thanks so much for a great recipe.
I have made this Easter recipe for the last 6 years. They are the only hot cross buns I will eat. The inner filling really makes these delicacies, special. A true 5 star recipe!
This recipe is a keeper and will be a tradition during the Easter season! My family makes hot cross buns from scratch(with yeast and such) never again! These are the "bomb"! I will never make my old recipe again!Very simple and yummy!
