Green & White Fettuccine
For a fast and delicious dinner, toss together fettuccine with ham strips and peas.
4 ounces uncooked dried fettuccine
4 ounces uncooked dried spinach fettuccine
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas, thawed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
8 ounces cooked ham, cut into thin strips
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Cook both pastas in 4-quart saucepan according to package directions. Drain; set aside.
Melt butter in same pan until sizzling; add garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2-3 minutes or until tender. Stir in half & half, parsley, peas and pepper. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until heated through.
Stir in cooked fettuccine, 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese and ham. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese.
