3 ounces (3/4 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (1-pound) loaf French or Italian bread, sliced diagonally 3/4-inch
Heavy-duty aluminum foil
Heat one side of gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Place coals to one side in charcoal grill.
Combine all cheese spread ingredients in bowl. Spread onto cut-sides of bread slices. Wrap bread in aluminum foil; tightly seal top and ends.
Place bread onto grill opposite heat. Close lid; grill, turning over after half the time, 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Oven Directions: Heat oven to 400°F. Prepare bread as directed above. Wrap bread in aluminum foil; tightly seal top and ends. Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
