Belgian-Style Waffles

Toasty waffles are a welcome morning treat.

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
3 Land O Lakes® Eggs, slightly beaten
1 tablespoon vanilla


Land O Lakes® Butter
Maple syrup
Chocolate shavings
Powdered sugar, sifted
Fresh fruit
Ice cream


Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl; mix well. 

Combine milk, melted butter, eggs and vanilla in another bowl; mix well. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients. (Batter will be thick.)

Cook batter in Belgian waffle maker according to manufacturer’s directions. Serve warm with your choice of toppings.

My sons love these waffles. I always make a double batch and freeze the leftovers for them to re-heat as needed. Very good for busy mornings.
I made this for 15 ppl @ sunday breakfast at church with a toppings of peach, pineapple and sweet soften apples, whiipped cream there choice. It was eaten up so fast and every person there asked for the recipe.
This is easy and tastes fabulous. I've tried other recipes but this is the best.
This was not only super easy but delicious. I even halved the recipe first time round. So good!
