This easy fudge recipe is made without a saucepan or candy thermometer. One bowl and the microwave is all that is needed to make creamy, smooth fudge.
Line 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges. Butter foil.
Combine butter, milk and chocolate chips in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 2-3 minutes or until butter and chocolate chips are melted.
Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla; beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth. Spread into prepared pan. Cover; refrigerate 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until firm. Lift fudge from pan using foil ends; cut into squares.

I made this with white and butterscotch flavored chips instead of chocolate and, even though it didn't melt right, when I mixed it with the powdered sugar it all came together beautifully! It is in the fridge hardening as I type this and I can't wait for it to be done!!
I make fudge for my husband every Christmas. This by far was the best and easiest I have done. I was not sure about no marshmallows being used. But, this did not effect the taste or firmness. So easy and good.

I had to make a dessert for my daughter's school for tomorrow. She told me at 7pm. This recipe was perfect. Took about 15 mins. total. And since I was making for kids, I added crushed oreos to it. The kids LOVED it!!!!

This was not a good recipe i followed instructions exactly and the fudge came out mushy and the taste was overbearing. I will never use this recipe again.
Super fast and EASY. I have made as last minute gift on several occasions. Have used rasberry flavored and orange flavored chocolate chips also. Thinking about experimenting with other flavors, like maybe green mint for St Pats. Using white chips. Has anyone else tried?
very easy to follow instructions. Had everything needed in the pantry so I made three batches. Took into the office and it did not last till noon. Recommended for duper easy answer to fudge craving. I thought it wa a lot less expensive to make than the usual recipes and much easier.
This was the first microwave fudge I ever made and it turned out so yummy! Very pleased with the recipe!
The fudge was tasty and very easy and quick to make for gifts or in a hurry. The only thing that I thought it was very sweet with 3 cups of powdered sugar. I used 2.5 cups instead and possibly I will try less the next time. I don't know the consistency will change with less sugar.

I make this fudge every year at Christmas time for parties and family get togethers. Everyone loves it and when I am asked for the recipe people can't believe you make it in the microwave. I haven't found a better recipe. You must try it!!!!
You will not believe how incredibly easy and tasty this fudge is! My brother swore that this was Grandma's old fudge recipe! Looking forward to making it again this year!
