Chewy oatmeal cookies with raisins will remind you of Grandma's always-full cookie jar.
Heat oven to 375°F. Combine all ingredients except flour and raisins in large bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Add flour; continue beating until well mixed. Stir in raisins.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

The best oatmeal cookies I've ever made! I added 1 - 1/4 cups dried sour cherries (made in Michigan!), 1 cup chopped pecans and 1 cup white chocolate chips and I changed the amount of cinnamon to 1/2 tsp. We can't quite eating them!
Very simple and Delicious!
The flavor of this cookie is excellent. However, I followed the directions exactly and the cook time was not long enough; I needed to cook each batch for 18 minutes. Also, this recipe yeilded a ton of cookies... more than 36. That is not a complaint at all though! These cookies are yummy! I put half of the oats in the blender to get a smoother tecture. Delicous!
I have baked other oatmeal raisin cookies, but these are the best I have ever eaten!I have a family member who "doesn't like" raisins request these! This recipe is definitely a keeper!
This is a family favorite surpassing all other oatmeal raisin recipes.
I added pecans and dried mixed berries- We loved them and I sent a care package out to my family in CA for Easter. I will let you know how well they traveled.
Hands down this is the BEST oatmeal cookie recipe I have ever made! Cookies are chewy and tasty. I have made these cookies several times always excellent results. This recipe will be added to my permanent collection.
