These yeast rolls are light and tender and perfect to serve with any main dish, salad or soup.
Heat oven to 375°F.
Bake 14-16 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately. Brush buns with reserved melted butter, if desired.

wonderful rolls, use my King Arthur hamburg pans to make them more of a hamburg bun, keeps their shape better, Has anyone tried to make in bread machine on dough setting?
My eight year old grandson & I made these rolls, they were very easy, but most of all they were delicious, hot out of the oven, slathered with soft LandOLakes butter & of course good local honey. Will definitely be making this recipe as a favorite for the holiday... Thanks for sharing...
I made these this afternoon for our church dinner. This is the first time I've worked with a yeast dough, I can't tell you how nervous I was. The buns are so easy to make and everyone said how good they were. The church ladies are already saying that I should make the buns for all the dinners in the future. Thank you for having such a great recipe.
Not overly tasty.
I've made this numerous times and gave the recipe to my mother and brother. Both have loved it. A couple of tips. Do not cover either rising. The dough sticks to everything I've tried. Roll dough out to a little bigger than golf balls and put about 2 inches apart on the cookie sheets. These rolls are light and fluffy and freeze well....if you have any left!
My daughter's boyfriend was charged with making the rolls for Thanksgiving. (Everyone has to make something, no store-bought.) He doesn't even know how to crack an egg so this recipe allowed for some basic kitchen education and produced rave reviews. Definately better than what "Joy" would have put him through.
These are so good! everybody loves them and they are better than anything in a restaraunt. I have now added this reciepe to my permanant collection. I will be serving these at Christmas!
Delicious and Easy!!! For anyone that has trouble baking yeast breads or rolls.... this recipe's for you! We fixed them for Thanksgiving dinner and they were fabulous! This recipe is definetly a "keeper". Thanks Land O'Lakes!
Light, fluffy, baked up like a dream. Used these for Thanksgiving dinner! Will be perfect for many other dinners too! You've got to try these!
The rolls were ecellant. Next time, I think I would divide each half into 18 pieces and make smaller dinner rolls. These would be excellant for BBQ or burgers.
Use for sandwiches.......just the perfect size for lunch sandwiches whatever you put inside! They are light and tasty. Mine didn't look as pretty as the picture however.....I'm not a great 'bun' former as they were not uniform in size...any hints?
Oh my gosh these are GREAT and so easy. I always seem to have trouble with yeast breads but not this one! Mine came out more square than round as shown in the picture but no matter - they had a gorgeous golden crust and tasted delicious.
The rolls are light, tender and absolutely the best I have ever made. It almost makes you want to keep the recipe a secret!!
Oh my Gosh!! These are great! I amde them and flattened then just a little bit after making the balls 9 when they were in the pan) and they came out like "burger" rolls. i will make my own recipe of "crabby patties" and ust them on these great rolls. beatrice g.
This bun recipe is the best I've ever had! I have been looking for one this good for a very long time! My husband raved about them. Best rolls he's ever had. He even wanted me to make a copy of the recipe for a friend of ours who owns a catering business and raved to him about them as well.
I made these delicious buns for a family meal making them 5 days before, freezing them. An hour before the meal, I took them out of freezer,let them thaw for 20 minutes and baked them as directed...they were fresh and just perfect!
easy to make , even at -40 below in alaska my son and family love them!!!!
