BLT Tortilla

The BLT sandwich has always been a family favorite recipe. Here's a tempting twist that's great any time of the day.

Ingredients

Spread

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon dry ranch salad dressing mix
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Tortilla

8 (8-inch) flour tortillas
4 cups torn lettuce
2 medium (2 cups) tomatoes, chopped
16 slices bacon, cooked

Directions

Combine all spread ingredients in small bowl; set aside.

Warm tortillas according to package directions. Spread each tortilla with 2 tablespoons spread. Layer each with 1/2 cup lettuce, 1/4 cup tomatoes and 2 slices cooked bacon. Bring sides of tortillas together; secure with toothpicks.

Recipe Tip

To warm tortillas, place tortilla between 2 paper towels; microwave 15-20 seconds. Or, wrap tortillas in aluminum foil and bake at 350°F, 8-10 minutes.

I have made these for my family and they loved them. It is so easy to make and a change from the bread.
A new twist on an old favorite! We served these in the food establishment where I work, and everyone loved them.
Very easy and fast meal. It puts a little spin on the old fashioned blt with regular sandwich bread.
had company drop in and always have these few simple ingredients on hand. let's face it who doesn't have bacon and tortillas. this was easy and delicious. try it, you won't be sorry.
