This pizza dip is always a big hit at gatherings.
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine sour cream, cream cheese and Italian seasoning in small bowl. Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth.
Spread evenly into 9-inch pie pan. Spread with pizza sauce. Top with pepperoni and green onions. Bake 10-12 minutes or until heated through.
Top with cheese. Continue baking 4-5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with breadsticks.
*Substitute 1/4 teaspoon each dried basil leaves, dried marjoram leaves, dried oregano leaves and 1/8 teaspoon rubbed sage.

I have made this recipe for the last several years at Christmas. I always have to double it and there are never any leftovers. We hover around it at the counter with a bag of Frito's scoops, and someone always burns their mouth because they can't wait for it to cool down before they dig in. This is definitely a family favorite.
Brought this to cards, must have been great , dish came home empty.
I usually make this dip along with two other kinds on SuperBowl Sunday. This one disappears first, so I am definitely going to double the recipe next time I make it. This is delicious served with breadsticks or crackers. I like to use pizza seasoning instead of Italian seasoning and add a bit more mozarella cheese.
I have made this dip several times, and it is always a hit. I normally have to double the recipe. This is definitely a must-try recipe
I have been making this for years and is truely a favorite. Superbowl Sunday would not be the same without this dip. I do omit the onions and serve with crackers....
