College student on a budget so I used chopped ham and turkey lunch meat---still excellent! LOVE it!
I love this recipe, it's so easy and delicious! I didn't have plain american cheese last time I made this, so I used the sharp american and it added a little zing to it. MMmm!
I made this recipe just as it is the 1st time. Although I put the brocholli to cook in the pasta. Very good! The 2nd time I left out the ham, increased the milk to 1 cup, added 4 cloves of garlic, and cooked the brocholli with the pasta. EVEN BETTER!! You could also and I'll try this the next time add about 1/4 cup parmesan cheese in addition to the american cheese.
