1/4 cup chopped fresh thyme leaves*
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 split chicken breasts
2 (3/4-inch thick) pork chops
2 Italian sausages
3 medium red, yellow and/or orange bell peppers, quartered
1 large red onion, cut into wedges
Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
Combine thyme, butter, garlic, pepper and salt in bowl. Place chicken, pork chops and sausages onto grill. Grill 20 minutes, basting with butter mixture and turning occasionally.
Place peppers onto grill around meats. Continue grilling and brushing with butter mixture 18-25 minutes or until peppers are roasted and softened.
*Substitute 1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves.
Assorted meats may vary the grilling time. Remove to serving platter as they are done.
