This chocolate frosting is made with everyday on-hand ingredients.
Place butter into bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy.
Add powdered sugar, cocoa, vanilla, 2 tablespoons milk and vanilla. Beat at low speed, adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency.
Dietary Fiber: 1g
I added a teaspoon of cinnamon and a little extra milk to the frosting. The light and fluffy texture was perfect with my French vanilla cake.
This is a very simple buttercream to make and one of the best that I have ever tasted. Will definitely remain in my recipe files.
I actually used the Land O Lakes spreadable butter. It came out great and is sooo good. It is very smooth and creamy. I love it. I will definitely use it again.
