Chicken Breasts With Blue Cheese Butter

You’ll love the blue cheese flavor in the butter that tops these grilled chicken breasts.

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
6 (5-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Blue Cheese Butter

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
2 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves*


Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.

Combine butter and garlic powder in small bowl.

Place chicken breasts onto grill; brush with butter mixture. Grill, turning and brushing occasionally with butter mixture, 10-13 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches at least 165°F and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.

Meanwhile, combine all blue cheese butter ingredients in small bowl; mix well.

To serve, top each grilled chicken breast with about 2 teaspoons blue cheese butter.

*Substitute 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves.

Recipe Tip

Leftover chicken is delicious sliced and added to favorite salad greens the next day.
