This deep-dish cobbler has a custard filling and is made with canned pears.

The frst time I made this, I misread the recipe and purchased the small cans of pears. I supplimented the pears with frozen cranberries. I also omitted the nuts. It was so good that I will always make it that way! The combination of the fruit and the creamy custard topping was delicious!
