Oatmeal cookies so tasty and chewy, they'll remind you of your Grandma's cookie jar.

Very good!I replaced the chocolate with 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup coconut.Tastes like carmel :D
Oh delicious!! It so reminds me of my mothers cookies!!! Also, to add a little cuteness, I used Fall M& M's:)Love the Land O Lakes test kitchen!!
This is a good healthier type of oatmeal cookie. I made a few changes by using 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup of raisins and 1/2 cup walnuts, and added 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. I also baked at 350 because they were coming out too brown at 375. These cookies were absolutely delicious! A little sweet treat that's not to sweet and a little healthier than a conventional cookie. My new go to cookie.
Very good! Just make sure not to overbake or they will be kinda dry.
Excellent cookies. It's hard to eat just one. My sixteen year-old loved them. Love the colorful M&Ms!
I made these cookies and my grandchildren, think their Bubbe, got them form a Bakery. I told them that I got them off Land O'Lakes site. Which they live far from me means they can cook them themselves. They taste good and made up great with the fall color M & M's. But, my friends like them just like they are... I have made them 3 times. Why? Because they are SO easy. Cookies with real butter made the difference in my cookie making. I love Land O/ Lakes.
I've made these cookies twice now since I saw the recipe a couple of weeks ago and they are delicious!!! I actually almost ate the whole 2 dozen of the first batch myself they were soooo good. Definately a great recipe. One of my co workers loved the cookies so much that she asked me for the recipe. Very, very very good!!! I will be making these over and over again!!!
Absolutely yummy! They lasted all of a day with my kids and their friends in the house!
Very delicious! I didn't need to edit the recipe for altitude baking either!
I was in a hurry, wanted to take cookies to a meeting at church, and selected this recipe because it said "35 min. total time." Turns out it was, indeed, quick to make, start to finish! One "short cut," this oatmeal cookie receipe uses no white sugar, only brown which (I guess) contributes to the cookie's delightful "crispiness." Friends liked this variation. I am definitely keeping this recipe.
I haven't tried this yet looks like what I am kinda looking for. Any one have McAlisters Sandwich Shop around. I love their oatmeal cookies but I would think they would have nutmeg, cinnamon, or another spice in them. Any suggestions? I work long hours and just don't have the time to experiment.
I made these for my teenagers and they LOVED them! Great recipie!
We loved these cookies. In a family that doesn't care much for oatmeal, these were gone in a flash! They're easy to make and fun to eat. Lots of texture, crispy on the outside but soft inside - and of course there's the chocolate...yum! We will be baking these again.
I can't ever seem to make a chewy oatmeal or chocolate chip cookie. This recipe made a wonderful, chewy cookie. I used Bob's Red Mill Scottish Oatmeal. I can't wait to try it with dried cherries.
this recipe is a throw back to The kinda cookies Grandma made the kind you really miss from growning up make 2 dozen to have enough forthe week end

Spring is finally in the air! The days are getting longer, my commute is getting shorter (thanks to less ice and snow), and we just bought a pair of pint-sized, yellow rubber boots for our toddler to go puddle-stomping. After a very long, very cold winter, I feel like a mama bear coming out of hibernation. Thank goodness for sunshine!
