I am Italian and my grandmother even comes from Italy. I grew up eating this as an Italian dish but we used tenderized round steak. I have always loved the flavor but was never happy with chewiness of the round steak, so after I married I decided to try it with boneless chicken. We loved it and liked it so much more than the round steak, so I haven' cooked it on round steak in years. But I also wanted to tell people of something very similar to this dish that my family also loves. Instead of the bread crumbs I crush cheez its and add those and a couple of Tbs. flour. O so good. Try it sometime and your husband and children will love it!
Love this recipe!! Come out great every time. Checken, chops whatever u have on hand. Easy & kids love it!!!
I have been making this recipe forever, and my 11 year old son "It is the best.". I use Panko breadcrumbs. This is a keeper, and I continue to make it, and my Dad also request this every time he comes up.
Most deliciously moist chicken ever!!! Have made it for company with RAVE reviews!! This recipe is a keeper! I pounded the chicken first. I think it makes it more tender.
My whole family liked this chicken.
I MAKE THIS RECIPE ALL THE TIME. THE ONLY THING I CHANGED WAS THE BREAD CRUMBS. I ALWAYS USE PANKO BREAD CRUMBS INSTEAD. I SURE LOOK FORWARD TO TRYING MORE RECIPES! I SURE THANK MY DAUGHTER FOR SHARING THIS WITH ME & LAND OF LAKES !!!
I made this recipe and used turkey chops. They tasted as good as it did when I used chicken. I plan to try it with pork the next time!
I traded the parsley for sage & minced garlic in olive oil for fresh. This is one of absolute favorite recipes!
Made twelve for my Bonko club and was a great hit. I used Japanese Panko plain bread crumbs, piled it on and was unsparing with the butter. Was really great. The fresh parsley really added flavor. Also, I prepared this the night before my luncheon in two large casserole dishes and covered with plastic wrap. All I had to do the next day was pop them in the oven. I served a congealed salad, steamed rice with veggies ( fresh asparagus tips, fresh green onions, Steamfresh corn, green peas) and dessert.s
We lost our card recipe. Thank goodness for internet. Thank you for best creamery butter ever.
I absolutely love this recipe
Replaced plain dried bread crumbs with Italian style bread crumbs and used powder garlic instead of fresh. Did not need to add salt and pepper. Yum!
I had 3 chicken breast that equaled 2lbs. I had to bake for 1 1/2 hrs. Its was excellent.
Easy and delicious
Simple and very good. Everyone liked it very much.
This is my go-to chicken recipe.... can't beat how easy it is to make and how moist the chicken is. We serve it with pasta or herbed rice... and a vegetable with butter and garlic. so good.
This is the best baked chicken ever! It's easy and super delicious. I have also cut the chicken in smaller pieces and served it as finger food.
Super easy to prepare! Ingredients, cooking time and temperature are spot on! I make it with rice and either carrots or broccoli. Everyone (including myself) loves it!
A different take on chicken. If you're bored with chicken, make this!
Delicious! We all loved it.I used minced garlic from a jar.
My husband and I don't care too much for chicken breasts but after trying this recipe my husband just can't enough of it. He always makes sure that I make enough leftovers for lunch the next day.
Amazing recipe the entire house smelt absolutely scrumptious...my boys kept asking me whn dinner was going to be ready. I served with broccoli and white rice... simple and delicious. I make this recipe every other week.
Love this chicken!!! My kids and hubby agree and anyone who I have shared this recipe with loves it too!
Fast, easy and everyone ate it.
As my husband said, in the spirit of Dr. Seuss: "I would eat this here or there - I would eat this anywhere!" Very tender, succulent dish you will want to serve again and again.
This is the best oven baked chicken recipe that I've ever tasted. The combination of butter, fresh garlic, fresh parsley, parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs is simply awesome!!!

Every once and awhile, I have to giggle at the way recipes come and go, and then come back again. Orange & Fig Pinwheels is one of those recipes. Pinwheel cookies are now everywhere on Pinterest, as are fresh figs. Combine the two and you have one trendy recipe – fig pinwheel cookies.
