This was even better than expected. My family loved this! Even my 5 year old daughter, who ate dinner at a friend's house, came home & ate some of it & said "i am eating this for dinner tomorrow night"! She did, too. Moist, nice combo of flavors, and just yummy!
Never had pork chops and apples before. I didn't have the onion so didn't use that and didn't use garlic. I had one granny smith and another apple that I used. I added some all spice to it. So I kinda stuck to the recipe. It turned out really good. Would never have put pork chops and apples together. Will have to try with the onions next time. The family loved it so this one goes in my recipe file to make again.
Sorry, but I don't cook much. Do the pork chops go on top, beside, or under the onions and apples while they cook? Or does it make any difference in the outcome of the onions and apples? Thanks for any help. They look delicious.
Very good and easy to do. I used butterfly pork chops and meat was very tender. I have passed recipe on and will definitely make it again.

My husband and I made these pork chops last night as I wanted to try something different. I prepped the onion and apple while he started cooking the pork chops. Generally, pork chops come out chewy and dry, but these are some of the best pork chops we've ever had. We'll definitely make this recipe again!
I made this for my boyfriend and I and we loved it! Very seasonal!
I added thinly sliced fennel to the onions and Gala apples. Wonderful and quick.

A wonderful meal for autumn...also would serve a side dish of perogies with the chops.

This was really quite delicious! Normally I do not have any luck frying pork chops. They always come out hard and dry so I gave up trying. When I saw this recipe, it looked too good to pass up, so I followed the recipe exactly as written and the pork was juicy, tender and delicious. The only thing I would change is to use a sweeter apple. I used a Granny Smith and it was just too tart. I'm going to be making this recipe very often....that's how good it is! Nummies!
this would be good with the addition of slices of butternut or delicata squash
A new fall favorite in our house! Very delicious. I served with spatzele and cucumber salad. Especially perfect for Oktoberfest!
